Visual Inspection
Upon the arrival of clippers on the work bench, our initial step is to perform a visual inspection to identify any potential issues such as worn blade drives, visibly worn power cords, cracked housings, among others.
Internal Inspection
After opening the case, we thoroughly examine all internal components. We remove any debris such as hair or carbon buildup, which can hinder the optimal performance of the clipper, resulting in issues such as overheating or loss of power
please inform us of any specific issues you are experiencing when sending clippers in for diagnosis.
Power Check
Expertise and experience in handling power is crucial for the next step. With every clipper being unique, our team's experience allows us to accurately diagnose power-related issues. We inspect and test continuity from the cord to the circuit board and motor, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted performance. Our goal is to prevent any intermittent power or failure, so you can count on your clipper to keep running smoothly.
Free Estimates
After a thorough inspection, it's decision time - to fix or ditch? We consider all the factors, from part availability to repair cost vs. buying new. A rare amount of clippers cannot be salvaged, but we can repair the majority available on the market. If you don't request an estimate, we'll normally proceed with repairs up to $50. Anything exceeding that amount, we will contact you directly before proceeding with any repairs.
Repaired and Tested
Now that we've fixed and reassembled everything, it's time for the ultimate test. Each clipper gets a blade check because they're an inseparable duo – the clipper and blade work in perfect harmony. We don't just mend the clipper, we make sure it's in sync with its partner. Only when it passes our exam, we return it to the owner, primed to deliver sleek and precise cuts time after time.
