If you'd prefer not to mail your items, we have a couple of options for getting your equipment to us. We have a drop-box at our location where you're always welcome to drop your equipment off. Repairs are normally completed within 24-48 hours Monday through Friday. When your items are ready for pickup, we will contact you to schedule a pickup time. How to Safely Ship Your Equipment for Repair

We have learned a few things over the years when it comes to shipping equipment and these are some the best practices to follow so that your equipment arrives safely and securely, and is returned in a timely fashion.

  • Choose a shipping carrier that suits your needs. You have the flexibility to select your preferred provider to transport your equipment. For smaller packages, we recommend using USPS due to cost-effectiveness. However, for larger packages, you can usually obtain better shipping rates through a private carrier such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL. In addition, whenever using your own box to ship packages, we encourage you to use the appropriate size box for the items that you're planning to ship. This will allow us to return your shipment in the same box with the advantages of a lower return shipping cost due to the commercial rates we are provided.

  • Prioritize secure packing. It's essential to take the time to ensure that your equipment is safely secured inside the box. Clipper blades, scissors, shears, and hair clippers are not built to withstand physical damage, making bubble wrap the most secure option. The bubbles provide adequate cushioning against impact, and you can tightly seal the bubble wrap with tape. If you don't have a secure case built for transportation, we recommend avoiding clipper blade cases without padding, as they can leave blades vulnerable to damage. To ensure your equipment arrives in perfect condition, we suggest shaking the box once everything is packed to guarantee the contents are secure.

  • Deliver your package to your carrier. Although you can personally notify us of your incoming shipment, completing our Equipment Digital Repair Form is the quickest and most efficient way to provide us with all necessary information to repair your equipment. This form prevents delays and errors that could arise from omitting your information when shipping your package.

  • Track your package for peace of mind. If you purchased tracking services, you can monitor the progress of your shipment and know when it arrives. Alternatively, if you want us to notify you upon receipt, please specify this in the comments section of the Equipment Digital Repair Form.* Packages that are shipped requiring a signature could potentially be delayed. Carrier delivery schedules don't always coincide with our company's schedule which creates the possibility that your package will not be delivered on time. *

We've got your back when it comes to shipping your items! To help us out, please fill out this form at your convenience prior to shipping (or in the worst case, after you have already shipped). This way, we can provide you with quick estimates, process invoices with ease, and make sure our carrier has the correct shipping info to get your goods back to you as soon as possible. This form is not mandatory, but only serves as an extra tool that you can use in case you do not want to take the time to write out the information, or in case of the chance that you ship your equipment without providing the information needed inside the box.
