Our story takes us back over 40 years to a time when my Grandfather Oliver George, a visionary with a passion for engineering, began designing a revolutionary machine, wheel, and process for sharpening hair clipper blades. He meticulously crafted a wheel with a pattern designed to promote a longer lasting edge, carefully selected 1500 diamond grains, and used his engineering expertise to design a process that would result in a flawlessly smooth and polished finish. His innovation was a game-changer, revolutionizing the ability to sharpen clipper blades with a process that was unique and provided an outstanding finish. Today, our family of sharpeners still uses his original design and process, which has stood the test of time as a hallmark of quality and precision in the industry.

In the heart of the bustling Dallas/Fort Worth area, there was a mobile clipper blade sharpening business unlike any other. The man behind the operation? My Father, Darell George, a.k.a. "The Blade Guy." With his magnetic personality and unmatched expertise, he built a loyal following of hair cutting professionals across the metroplex, establishing himself as the go-to sharpener for over 20 years. Sadly, in March 2016, the sharpening world lost a true legend with the sudden passing of my Father Darell. But, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, including me, who learned everything they know about the business from the master himself.
